Our P.L.A.C.E. Mission is to engage community in the exploration of world culture through art, play and learning.

P.L.A.C.E. (Partnerships in Learning and Creative Exploration, Inc.) is a 501c-3 non-profit organization currently run by an exceptional group of dedicated volunteers. We have over five years experience in developing community relationships and offering free art, wellness, human services programs to area organizations that have a similar mission.

Our Founding Development Partners are: The Town of Hamden, New Alliance Bank, New Alliance Foundation, Hamden Arts Commission, Simione, Macca & Larrow, Turner Brooks Architects, CT Trust for Historic Preservation, Bhoga Yoga, Lisa Keith Designs, Creative Planet Workshop & Studios, S.C.S.U., Quinnipiac University, Sette & Bonadies PC, Hamden Youth Services, & Hamden Partnership for Young Children.

Please join us as we unite our community through the exploration of world culture. Our museum and art center will offer opportunities for individuals and groups to learn about the different countries & people in our world through art, play and interactive exploration. We look forward to serving the community and making a difference in the lives of all human beings, but especially the children.
